There is nothing wrong with loving the skin you’re in and your appearance. Growing up, I’ve always gone through being criticized for my weight and appearance. So much so that I had become very weight conscience and at times I would get so depressed and find myself downing myself. It hurt worse because most of the negative comments came from family. We even go so far as to tell non-sensical sayings. My pastor always uses, “what you don’t know won’t hurt you” as an example. My pastor made a huge point that made me realize how many choose to want to stay ignorant when things seem...

Finding Your Purpose

I believe in life having a purpose that is more than just we live and then we die. I have known and searched for purpose because there is so much more to this life than just that. Each and every one of us has a purpose to be born upon God’s green earth. I’ve always felt that it is extremely important to get grounded. Having morals and values. My father always taught me to keep God #1 in my life and it has never failed me. Giving back has always been something I had seen as a must. What good...
